We keep tracking to a minimum. This page explains what cookies and similar technologies the Site uses, under the GDPR and the German TDDDG.
Our approach
Finance AI Careers is privacy-light. The Site does not set advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies, and it does not run third-party ad networks. We do not load non-essential cookies without your prior consent. Our analytics tool sets no cookies; what its script reads in your browser and what it sends are described below.
What we currently use
- The Site sets no cookies and writes nothing to local or session storage.
- Analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics to see aggregate traffic patterns, such as how many people visit a page. Its script reads your browser's user agent (the text that names your browser and operating system), whether the browser reports that automation software is controlling it, the address of the page you are on and the page you came from. It sends the page URL, the route, the referring page, a timestamp and custom events to Vercel. It sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device. To tell visits apart, Vercel derives a hash from your IP address and user agent and discards it after 24 hours. Vercel Web Analytics does not track you across sites, and does not link your visits beyond 24 hours. No Google Analytics or other cookie-based analytics is in use, and that is a deliberate choice rather than something we have not got round to: cookie-based analytics would mean asking you for consent first, and we would rather not ask.

If cookie-based analytics is added later
If we ever move to an analytics tool that sets cookies or similar storage, we will request your explicit consent before it runs, and this page (and our Privacy Policy) will be updated accordingly.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge all provide controls under Settings → Privacy). Because we set no non-essential cookies, blocking them will not affect your ability to read the Site.
Quizzes and the readiness check
The interview readiness check and the quizzes in the guides run in your browser, set no cookie and store nothing on your device. What the readiness check records when you finish it is described in the Quizzes and the Readiness Check section of our Privacy Policy.
